  • Sunday, September 13th: Meet, Greet, and Sangeet @ 6:45 PM - 9: 00 PM | 1751 Lower Water St, Halifax

    Monday, September 14th: Free day

    Tuesday, September 15th: Wedding Ceremony @ 4:00 PM, immediately followed by reception | 768 Masons Beach Rd, Lunenburg

  • We encourage everyone to wear colourful Indian attire for the Meet, Greet, and Sangeet. You can learn more about this in the ‘Wedding Week Schedule’ page.

    Please wear comfortable, formal attire for the wedding and reception.

  • We have hotel blocks in Halifax and Bridgewater for the Sangeet and Wedding, respectively.

    Please view our ‘Travel and Stay’ page for more information on booking.

  • There is limited available parking at the wedding venue. We encourage everyone to carpool or taxi to the wedding venue to prevent overcrowding.

    We will offer a shuttle to everyone’s accommodations after the reception, between 8:30 PM - 12:30 AM on Tuesday, September 15th.

  • Lunenburg (Wedding Venue) is a one hour drive from Halifax (Meet, Greet, and Sangeet). There are frequent shuttles between Halifax and Lunenburg, but we recommend a rental car to experience the scenic coastal route and explore small towns along the drive.

  • For those who would like to offer a gift, we would graciously accept cash as contribution to start our new life together.

Why Nova Scotia?

In 2022, Sanjana matched to Internal Medicine in Halifax - a city we'd barely visited. While we loved our Calgary roots, there was something very exciting about moving across the country to a place we hardly knew.

It didn't take long to fall head over heels. Halifax won us over with its historic charm and delightful quirks: the way evenings naturally gravitate toward cozy pubs, the genuine warmth of locals who'd strike up conversations anywhere, and above all, the stunning Nova Scotia coastline.

Our time in Halifax was one filled with exploration, laughter and new experiences, all while creating a cozy and comforting home. We wanted to share this important chapter of our lives with all of our closest friends and family before our next big adventure.

So yes, it's a bit of a journey to get here, but we promise the ocean air, the maritime spirit, and the chance to explore this special place together will be worth every mile.
